Brethren Mutual's Office Closed on President's Day

Brethren Mutual's office will be closed this coming Monday, February 18 for the President's Day holiday. The office will reopen the following day at 8:00 am. If you experience a claim on President's Day you can still call us at 1-800-621-4264 to speak to a claims specialist. Thank you!


Premium Due Date Extension and Reinstatement of Coverage Offered to Policyholders Impacted By the Federal Government Shutdown

Brethren Mutual is taking into consideration the difficulties policyholders are enduring due to the shutdown. Brethren Mutual will extend premium due dates by 30 days after the shutdown ends at the request of policyholders impacted by the shutdown (i.e. federal government employees, employees of federal contractors, policyholders with federal government mortgage/loan, etc.). Additionally, for policies that cancel due to non-payment of premium during the shutdown period (December 22, 2018 until 30 days after the shutdown ends), Brethren Mutual will reinstate the policy with no penalties for those policyholders impacted by the shutdown

To request an extension or reinstatement of coverage as a result of cancellation due to non-payment of premium, please call our Policyholder Services Department (800-621-4264 | M-F |8am – 4:30 pm).

Brethren Mutual now offers policyholders paperless policies, invoices and correspondence in an environmentally friendly way! By signing up for eDelivery, policyholders will receive notifications in their inbox letting them know when a policy is available for review, a payment is due, or a special notice needs to be reviewed and responded to. Enroll today by logging-in to www.bmic.com with your email and password. Click on the Account tab and select the policies to be eDelivered.
